The Bank of Nova Scotia is a Toronto-based Canadian bank (headquartered in Halifax) with operations across Canada, the U.S., Latin America, the Caribbean and other international markets. It reports results through four segmentsâCanadian Banking, International Banking, Global Wealth Management and Global Banking and Marketsâand provides a spectrum of retail and business banking services, wealth management and capital markets solutions to individual, corporate and institutional clients. The bank also maintains an extensive branch and ATM network domestically and roughly 1,300 international branches and support centers, and was founded in 1832.
