Valuation Metrics
Fundamental Analysis
Key Financial Insights: ⢠Margin Expansion ⢠Strong Cash Flow ⢠Working Capital NWPX is showing improving margins and solid cash flow with manageable leverage, but its working-capital-heavy model and moderate valuation leave only a fair margin of safety.
Price Behavior
Key Price Behavior Insights: ⢠Lower highs ⢠Failed rebounds ⢠Support test Support Level: $118.50-$119.72 Resistance Level: $126.89-$129.31 NWPX has trended lower over the last month, with failed rebounds into $126.89â$129.31 now acting as resistance and $118.50â$119.72 as key support; a break below $118.50 would weaken the chart further.
Sentiment & News
Key News Insights: ⢠Record Q2 ⢠Water Strength ⢠Backlog Growth NWPX delivered a strong Q2 beat with record sales, profit, and EPS driven by Water Transmission Systems strength, while backlog and a new Arrowstreet position support a positive outlook.
AI Summary
NWPX is transitioning from a cyclical recovery story to a higher-quality Water Transmission compounder thanks to stronger pricing, margins, backlog, and free cash flow, but the investment remains a hold-for-proof until Precast stabilizes and the stock reclaims resistance because leverage, working-capital intensity, and a 22x P/E leave little room for disappointment.
