Quanta Services is a Houston-based specialty contractor that provides engineering, procurement, construction and maintenance services for electric power, renewable generation and underground utility infrastructure worldwide. Its electric power business covers transmission, distribution and substation work including energized installations, smart grid and emergency restoration services; its renewable operations support wind, solar, hydro and battery storage projects and associated electrical infrastructure; and its underground segment delivers pipeline, storage and compressor station construction and related fabrication. The company was incorporated in 1997 and operates globally from its headquarters in Houston, Texas.
