Webster Financial Corporation is the bank holding company for Webster Bank, N.A., providing banking, investment and related financial services to individual and business clients across the United States. The company operates three principal lines â Commercial Banking (commercial lending, deposit and treasury services plus wealth and trust offerings), HSA Bank (health savings and other consumer-directed benefits delivered through employers and intermediaries) and Retail Banking (consumer deposits, mortgages and personal credit) â and also offers digital banking channels. As of December 31, 2021, Webster maintained 130 branches and 251 ATMs; it was founded in 1935 and is headquartered in Stamford, Connecticut.
