The Chefs' Warehouse, Inc. is a U.S.-based distributor of specialty food products operating in the United States and Canada, offering a broad assortment of roughly 50,000 SKUs that span high-end ingredients, center-of-plate proteins and everyday kitchen staples. Its customers include independent and fine-dining restaurants, hotels, caterers, culinary schools, bakeries, cruise lines, casinos and specialty retailers, and it also sells center-of-the-plate items direct to consumers via mail order and e-commerce. The company was founded in 1985 and is headquartered in Ridgefield, Connecticut.
